Ca-n poveste…/ Fairytale-like

“The world will never starve for want of wonders;
but only for want of wonder.”
G.K. Chesterton, Tremendous Trifles

A few wandering steps one morning and…

…looking around all of a sudden, I said to myself that I must have stepped onto a magical ground. Left and right, up or down, my eyes would keep finding and finding… my phone couldn’t keep up, just have a look.

I’d say little wonderful wonders adorning the sunny green in fairy-tale like manner.

Lumina aceea a dimineții…

…și rece și caldă, și-aproape și departe. Și colorată și albă.

That morning light…

…both cold and warm, near and far. Both colorful and white.

😊 😊

And beyond the alleys, a little miracle house was shining. Such quietness… never heard before.

Leaving  behind the noise of the street and drawing near… for a few fractions of a second I stopped and looked around to see the strumfs, a cute dwarf, a little girl dressed in red… bunnies or deers.

“There is a road from the eye to the heart that does not go through the intellect.”
G.K. Chesterton

    • Thank you, Tom. Little houses have always seemed so cute to me, colorful and warm, and birdhouses too, they look like in cartoons and children’s movies, sweet and playful, it’s always nice to imagine a family of little birds inside, chirping merrily around their home. 🙂

  1. Chesterton is one of those authors that once you read him you know he is a genius. I love his stories with Father Brown. : )
The spring is so strong that it introduces even it takes shape into the walls of the homes .

    • So glad you read and liked it, he is a genius indeed. I love the way he highlighted some aspects that seem essential, and are beautifully expressed: “You can only find truth with logic if you have already found truth without it.” And in Manalive, “I am going to hold a pistol to the head of the Modern Man. But I shall not use it to kill him–only to bring him to life.” Also, “The Man Who Was Thursday” seems interesting as well. : )
Strangely, sometimes I wish I could somehow turn into spring itself, and warm summer, be it for only a few days, all the beauty and light in the air, the colors, the freshness… I felt the little houses were almost personifications, like an embodiment of spring brightness and joy.
