Zâmbind din ploaie…/ Playing in the raindrops

Apă. De ploaie, desigur. Și…
…vă vine să credeți ce mi-a putut clipoci de prin picături? Ca din senin, din ploaia lipită de geamul meu?

O lume. Aceeași, dar complet… de-a-ndoaselea?! Și totuși, nu mai puțin colorată.

Water. Rain water, of course. And…
...can you believe what suddenly rippled into my lens from the raindrops? Like out of the blue, right after the rain painted on my window?

A world. The same, but… upside down?! However, not any less colorful.

 

Culori, unghiuri… fantomițe? Prinse ca din spectru rătăcit, brusc regăsit, răsărindu-mi în clar! Cu ocazia magică a unei focalizări mai năstrușnice.

Bun, și aici le-am întors de-a-npicioarelea pe zâmbărețe, altfel… parcă se scufundau în spirală adâncă, în loc să țâșneaxscă nostim de acolo ca niște jucării aruncate în aer.

Colors, angles… little smiley ghosts? Captured like from a wandering spectrum, suddenly popping up more clearly! On the magical occasion of a frolicsome kind of focusing.

Also, here I turned them up straight, or else… they looked like sinking down that spiraling void, not like out of it funnily, like toys tossed up in the air.

Jucăușenie de iulie ploios, mofturos a fost. Iar modelele… zâmbilici năstrușnici, fie ploaie, fie soare.

Clipa ca o picătură. Luminează cum o pictăm, nu? De dincolo de stropi și de ferestre și… de dincolo de noi.

Mai mult decât jucăuș, copilăros și extrem de ploios… stropii dansatori m-au dus cu gândul la zâmbetul în pași de step al lui Gene Kelly, dacă vă mai amintiți, eleganță și joacă. Hm…

…poate-ar trebui să fac și eu asta cândva. Sau… nu doar eu. Și nu mă refer la step. 😊

O săptămână nouă cât mai veselă, vă doresc!

And more than playful, childish and… rainish? If you remember, Gene Kelly’s smile, in the rhythm of step dancing, that unique elegance and playfulness, that is what the colorful raindrops brought to mind during the window photo session fun. Well…

…perhaps I should do that too, some time soon. Or… not just me. And I don’t mean the step dance. 😊

  4. This is wonderful. it rained most of the day here. I was taking pictures at a horse show and when I stopped for lunch I looked at the widows in the cafe and thought about taking photos of the raindrops. But the lens on my camera was for long shots of horses (250-600mm) and no good for close ups of the drops on the windows. So thank you! You took photos of the raindrops and they are beautiful photos.

    • I’m very happy you enjoyed them, thank you too! Yes, it sometimes also happens to me, when I want to take landscape shots, in the country for instance, or of the clouds, and I only have the macro lens on my camera, so I try to use the phone or an older camera instead, a smaller point- and-shoot Canon, more compact and easy to carry in my bag. But I think this move of mine is easier than the other way around, for when we need macro shots, yes. Those are really special and cute. Such captures really make my day, they give such a feeling of joy to take and then edit a bit for here! 🙂
