Oh… the woods’ transparent sway in the fairy queen’s golden evening potion. 🍷🍃 👀 ^_^
You reminded me much of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Francis, the play, the music, the movie… The 1935 black and white version is so nice, the fairies dance in the forest at night, the way the story flows, Oberon and Titania… and Puck, wonderfully done in those times.
„If we shadows have offended,
Think but this, and all is mended…” 😊
I hope to read it this year. I have not seen it or read it. I didn’t know about that movie. The work in photography, dressings and acting is beyond wonderful. Thank you, Nicole ^ô^
^_^ Very happy you liked it, Francis. And funny thing… there is even A Midsummer Night’s Dream 2018, at the other extreme. To see 21st century people talking Shakespeare English… on their mobiles! 😲😲 😀
Oh, and I think the song that plays in the background (Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik) is the one that I heard a lot when there are luxurious palaces :O It was the one that Luthor (with Jack Hackman) would whistle in one of the Superman movies with Christopher Reeve.
I always relate „Midsummer night’s dream” with shadows and forests. Perhaps the movie is good but I don’t know, looks with less art than what I imagine for such a title : )
Yes, Mozart, and that famous piece.. so fine. Thank you, Francis. 🙂
One of my most favorite parts in Superman is the interview scene, in the 1978 movie, of course. I remember loving Lois’ dress so much when I first saw it.. that almost phosphorescent blue, diaphanous, and the sweet funny questions and dialogue. They both feel innocent and so cute. ^_^
Oculus to the golden forest ^_^
