Beteală și Poleială…/ Happy Meow Year! =^^=

…sau Crăciunei,

sau Miaunei,

și luminițe galbene de clopoței

și om de zăpadă de puf…

 

Cu asta îndeletnicindu-se copilul din gândurile și rândurile mele,

pentru Surâsul de sâmbăta asta,

 

printre clipe construite din mult sclipici,

cu glazură de zbenguială foto și foială

printre ace de brad artificial (anul acesta, cel puțin)

 

…or Happy Meow Cheer,

with Glitter and Tinsel.

and yellow bell lights

and snowman of white cuddly fluff…

 

This is what the child in my thoughts and lines here

has been up to for this Saturday’s Smile,

 

among moments made of much glitter,

with a glaze of photo frolic and play

among them needles of artificial fir tree (this year, at least)

 

Au cercetat și pe sub brad,

cei doi purtători de zâmbet cald indiferent de anotimp…

 

Unde le străluceau globuri care nu s-au asortat deloc pe ramuri,

nici culoare, nici mărime, nici, nici…

 

They also searched underneath the tree,

the two smiley heroes no matter the season…

 

Where they found baubles not matching the ones up on the branches,

neither in color, nor size, nor, nor…

 

Iar hora de mini clopoțeii licărind

i-a atras ca un magnet minune

 

Luminau ca nostimul lor surâs

de pe ramură de vesel senin

 

And the string of bright yellow mini bells

pulled them like a magical magnet

 

Shining like their sunny smiles

hanging happily on a bow of serenity

 

După care, globul cel roșu aprins…

ca cireașa de pe tort,

le-a făcut cu ochiul

 

Iar pentru poza mea,

perfecțiune aprinsă și atinsă și…

surprinsă tiptil

 

After which, the flashy red globe…

like the cherry on top,

kept winking at them

 

As for my funny frames,

shiny perfection caught and brought here…

like on the tip of my toes
