“If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it;
blame yourself, tell yourself
that you are not poet enough
to call forth its riches;
for to the creator there is no poverty
and no poor indifferent place.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

Din roșu aprins, dor necuprins
din roz infinit,
dimineață
Din cer calendar, nimic nu-i zadar
când razele ziua-mi
răsfață
Cu verdele-n pas, bujorii-mi prind glas
petale rotind fin
spirală
Cu picuri de nor, macii-s izvor
de liniște de
catedrală
From lively bright red, a longing ahead
from infinite pink,
sunny morning
From calendar skies, seconds arise
when rays in my days
bring belonging
With green in my tread, peonies unread
unfurl their petals
like time
With drops from the clouds on poppies around
deep silence rings like
a chime

These photos of the peonies and poppies are really beautiful. Such good captures of these beauties!

The poem mirrors so well the meadow, soothing but intense details in so small details. Thank you, Nicole.

I tried to describe the feeling of being alone and quiet with the flowers for a while, very soothing, yes… still, nor on a meadow but in a garden, it was. The motto I chose for this post is really what I try to do, quite often too, though sadly, still a bit hard to enjoy something else around so much, besides flowers and nature, I mean. Thank you, too. 🙂
