Soare și Umbră, cu această ocazie, cei doi motani surâzători… apariție însorită ca din senin aici, la început de februarie, ca să putem face față provocării de săptămâna aceasta.

Cu numele lor torcând în ritm de anotimp, acum în ton luminos-umbros și cu tema provocării.

 

Sunshine and Shade, on this sunny occasion, the two smiling cats… as if out of the February blue here now, to be able to face the challenge theme this week.

With their ever changing names, purring in tune with the seasons, my Cutely Named Cats… now also a shine-and-shade delight, or in dappled light.

 

A doua parte a anului 2019 a fost mult presărat cu mustățile și urechile lor șugubețe, pornite de-a v-ați ascunselea prin verde și joc.

 

The last months of 2019 were quite a lot about their playful whiskers and paws here and there, hide-and-seek in the gorgeous green game.

Iar astăzi, se pare că blogul meu roz împlinește cinci ani. Cinci ani WordPress, foind când și cum pe aici, ploaie, soare, gând și cuvânt…

A fost drăguț să zăresc obișnuita notificare WordPress ivindu-se portocaliu, în timp ce aranjam pozele mult însorite. De parcă… hai la distracție!… printre raze și frunze, prin iarbă și flori și culori…

Also, it seems, today my pink blog is turning five. Five WordPress years, having played hide-and-seek here too, rain or shine, thoughts and words… 

It was nice to see the usual „Happy Anniversary with WordPress.com” notification all of a sudden earlier this evening, as I was arranging the Sunshine and Shade cute cat photos for this post. As if… come have party fun with us!… in the sun rays, the leaves, the grass and sweet flowers and all.

O melodie… pe care o ascultam destul de mult cu 10 ani în urmă. Deși acum… se simte parcă a fost ieri.

 

A tune I used to listen to quite a lot 10 years ago. Though now… it really feels as if it was yesterday.

Zâmbind…/ Cee’s „On the Hunt for Joy Challenge: Week 2 – Say Cheese”

Un zâmbet e o poveste cu de toate. Cât de multe poate cuprinde un surâs….

O fracțiune de clipă cu trecut și viitor în frânturile ei. Cu aromă de ieri și parfum de acum… și nuanțe de mâine. Felii de moment asezonate cu zâmbet, uneori poate doar ca pentru sine.

Când iubești clipa, îi zâmbești. Fie că ieri nu ți-a surâs sau mâine deja se încruntă gri, zâmbetul oferit unei secunde se simte… ca de dincolo de toate. Fulguire de luminos. O nouă culoare în curcubeul zilelor.

O șansă dată stelelor din țesătura unei clipe.

 

A smile is a story with everything in its lines. How many things can a smile hold…

A fraction of a second with past and future in its folds. With a scent of yesterdays and the fragrance of „now”… and hues of tomorrow. A slice of an instant seasoned with a happy expression, even only to oneself.

When we love a moment, we smile at it. Even if yesterday did not shine on us or tomorrow may already be frowning, that smile may be felt… as if from beyond things. Flash of brightness. A new color in the rainbow of days.

A sweet chance given to the stars within the fabric of an moment.

 

Orice poate fi motiv de surâs. Licăr sau freamăt sau fărâmiță de drăgălaș, pufos, gustos sau frumos…

De la momente de sărbătoare împodobite stelar, pănă la îngeri aproape transparenți sau pernuțe de pisic dormitând în soarele stingher de iarnă.

Anything could be a reason to smile. A twinkle or rustle or dash of sweetness, softness, happy, tasty or cute…

From holiday moments decorated with cheer, to transparent angels, or the cat’s paw in the shy winter sun.

Ianuarie nou…/ Cee’s „On the Hunt for Joy Challenge: Week 1 – Get Outside”

Afară…

…așteaptă mereu pe undeva. Cuminte, luminos, vesel. Doar să ieșim și să privim.

Și chiar mereu e ceva acolo, oricât de mic, sau de gri, de veșted… care ar umple perfect un cadru cu o frântură de frumos.

O fărâmiță de zi.

 

Am ieșit și am inspirat adânc. Aer de ianuarie nou. Câtă liniște în toate. Totuși, câtă viață torcând.

Puțin monocrom, dar… am zărit! Dulci izbucniri de primăvară împletită cu toamnă și iarnă. Frunze temerare muiate în culoare și frig. Un greiere curajos?!… Pare înlemnit, dar cred că e fericit, și el la plimbarea lui îndrăzneață.

Iar soarele măreț… mângâind peste toate.

Parcă recele nu a fost niciodată mai cald.

 

Outside…

It is always there somewhere. Silent, happy and bright. Just waiting for us to go outdoors, to look around.

And there is always something out there, no matter how small, how grey or how wilted, that would fill a frame perfectly with a sweet bit of beauty.

A ray from a day.

 

I went out and took a deep breath. Fresh January air. How tranquil everything is. Still, how much energy  throbbing in every little thing.

A bit in monochrome but… I found them! Soft patches of spring blended with autumn rust and winter whiteness. Lingering leaves soaked in color and coldness. A brave little cricket?! Seems stiff, but perhaps it is happy too, on its cute aimless stroll.

As for the splendid sun… caressing it all.

It suddenly felt the cold was never warmer.
